To be accepted for the Conference, the submissions must report work that is novel, well described, and suited to the Conference topics. Submissions must contain original data and meet international ethical standards. Selection criteria include high technical quality, relevance to the conference topics, and significant information content. Abstracts that are deemed commercial in nature will not be accepted.

Basic guidelines

Authors wishing to submit a contribution should consider the following guidelines:

1. Your submission must be an extended abstract of maximum 1200 words (excluding references, including figures and tables) which will include an abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions.

2. Your submission must be written in English.

3. The following Microsoft Word template must be used strictly for your submissions. Papers submitted not using the template, will be automatically rejected.

4. Papers must be submitted in PDF format.

* Please note that the template and guidelines are subject to change once ETAGRO gets an agreement with a publishing service for its Proceedings. In this case an updated version of the template and guidelines will be available and must be strictly used for your extended abstract submission. If you have already submitted a paper, you’ll get notified to update your submission using the new template.

The procedure

  • Papers will be accepted after double blind review process by at least two members of the Scientific Committee. To accommodate the double blind review process preferably submit a PDF file with your contribution.
  • ETAGRO 2023 review will be double blind. Therefore, please anonymise your submission. This means that all submissions must have no author identifying information (your contact details will be recorded in the Conference Management System). Do not put the author(s) names or affiliation(s), and try to “anonymise” citations to your own prior work in your submission.
  • Camera-ready accepted papers will be reviewed before final acceptance for oral/poster presentation to ensure conformance to reviewers comments.
  • All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings*
  • Authors will choose the preferred means of presentation: Oral or Poster. The presentation (oral or poster) can be done in English or Greek. In either way, the submitted paper must be in English and the author will have to declare the type and language of presentation during registration.

IMPORTANT: *At least one registration for each accepted paper must be confirmed before it can be included in the Conference Proceedings.
