To be accepted for the Conference, the submissions must report work that is novel, well described, and suited to the Conference topics. Submissions must contain original data and meet international ethical standards. Selection criteria include high technical quality, relevance to the conference topics, and significant information content. Abstracts that are deemed commercial in nature will not be accepted.
Basic guidelines for proceedings publication
Authors who received a Notification of Acceptance will have two (2) options.
OPTION 1. Those who wish their contribution to be included to ETAGRO 2023 Proceedings (Open Access – published online by MDPI) should consider the following guidelines:
1. You need to make the appropriate changes (if any) according to the review feedback that you received by email (the Notification of Acceptance). Please note that the Camera Ready Paper will be checked to see if it complies with the template standards and that all changes suggested by the reviewers have been made.
2. Your accepted extended abstract must be now converted to a short paper version of maximum 4 pages long which will include an abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions.
3. The following Microsoft Word template, provided by MDPI, must be used strictly for your camera ready submission. Papers submitted not using the template, will be automatically rejected and excluded from the Proceedings.
4. You now have to include author details and other information that you did not include previously due to the blind process review system. All authors information must be included as required by the template.
5. Your submission must be written in English.
6. Camera ready papers must be submitted in PDF format (see how to submit below). In addition to the PDF file, a Word file must also be submitted by email. You’ll receive instructions regarding this matter by email.
7. The deadline for submitting the camera ready paper is September 30, 2023.
OPTION 2. Those who DO NOT wish their contribution to be included to ETAGRO 2023 Proceedings (but only in the Book of Abstracts -see “The procedure” below) should consider the following guidelines:
1. You need to make the appropriate changes (if any) according to the review feedback that you received by email (the Notification of Acceptance). Please note that the Camera Ready Paper will be checked to see if it complies with the template standards and that all changes suggested by the reviewers have been made.
2. You now have to include author details and other information that you did not include previously due to the blind process review system. All authors information must be included as required by the template.
3. Your submission must be written in English.
4. Camera ready papers must be submitted in PDF format (see how to submit below). In addition to the PDF file, a Word file must also be submitted by email. You’ll receive instructions regarding this matter by email.

The procedure
Camera-ready accepted papers will be reviewed before final acceptance for oral/poster presentation to ensure conformance to reviewers comments.
The abstracts of all accepted papers will be included in the Conference Book of Abstracts (available online during and after the Conference).*
Only the short version papers will be included to the Conference Proceedings (see OPTION 1 in guidelines above).*
Authors will choose the preferred means of presentation: Oral or Poster. The presentation (oral or poster) can be done in English or Greek. In either way, the submitted paper must be in English and the author will have to declare the type and language of presentation during registration.
IMPORTANT: *At least one registration for each accepted paper must be confirmed before it can be included in the Book of Abstracts and/or the Conference Proceedings.
How to submit your camera ready paper
Once your paper is ready, you can update the file of your submission on the EasyChair system. Click on the following button to connect and update your file.
e-Poster guidelines
For those who will be presenting by poster, please consider the following guidelines for preparing and submitting your poster:
1. Aspect ratio 16:9
2. Dimensions of at least 1920 pixels width x 1080 pixels height (Full HD). It can also be at 4K resolution (3840 x 2160).
3. All texts inside the poster must be readable (there is no minimum font size, but it should be easily readable through the TV).
4. Posters must be sent in PNG or JPEG format. Any other format is not acceptable.
5. Posters must be sent by email ( etagro2023 [at] gmail [dot] com ) with the subject “ETAGRO 2023 POSTER FOR SUBMISSION XX” (replace XX with the number of your paper).
6. The deadline for submitting the poster is October 22, 2023.
